As a composer, one of my favorite things is collaborating with other humans to bring a new piece of music to life. It is an opportunity to create something tailored to you and your ensemble, your concert theme, and combine different creative energies into something new. I love hearing ideas for what new piece of music could be about!
Ideally, it is best to get in touch with me about a year in advance. I am a composer that value feeling inside the music they’re composing, and this enables me to carve out time in my schedule to conceptualize, research, and work on securing permission to texts for vocal pieces. Currently, I have the most availability in my schedule to write during the summer months of June – August, but it is always worth asking if I have time in my schedule to able to work on a different timeline.
